After much thought and consideration regarding the spread and uncertainty of COVID-19, we have decided that it is best to cancel spring soccer and volleyball. We have reached a threshold where even under the best possible scenario, the season would be rushed and play would likely continue deep into the summer vacation. Given that we have not ordered anything program related (that couldn't be canceled), we have the following options for refunds per registrant:

#1:  We can move your registration to this fall. If your child plays football, you could just pay the difference.

#2: We can mail you a check.

After you choose an option, you must notify us by email ([email protected]) or phone (call 706-743-3533). County offices are closed so please DO NOT come to the park office or to the county commissioner’s office. Checks are mailed every other Thursday from the commissioner’s office.

Little League Baseball and Softball (including T-Ball & Coach Toss)

OCLL is it's own organization and is not funded by the county. OCLL is in a much different situation. Little league activities started earlier than other Recreation Department sports and, to this point, has spent approximately 10k on preparations that include uniforms, game balls, insurance, etc.. So as of today, the OCLL leadership has decided that they have no choice but to try and continue with their season. However, that is still subject to change. If the OCLL season gets pushed so far out that it just can’t happen, we will adjust refunds and communicate that at the appropriate time.

Please continue to do your part to self-quarantine & stay safe.  We all look forward to brighter days with all park programs back in session.
